Paloma is the Spanish word for 'dove'. The first recipe is believed to have come from the 1950's. Try this easy, slightly smoky and refreshing drink for your next gathering.
INGREDIENTS
kosher salt
1/4 cup fresh pink grapefruit juice
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup mezcal or tequila
1/4 cup club soda
Shake and strain the first four ingredients into a salt-rimmed tall glass over ice.
