The Boulevardier, appeared in Harry’s 1927 bar guide, Barflies and Cocktails. It was the signature drink of Erskine Gwynne, expatriate writer, socialite and nephew of railroad tycoon Alfred Vanderbilt. And more recently, it is James Bond's next favorite drink to the Vesper. This is a very easy recipe to remember and it is only three ingredients. Negroni fans will also love this.
The Boulevardier
1 1/2 ounce Bourbon Whiskey
1 ounce Campari
1 ounce Sweet Vermouth
Garnish with an orange peel
Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into ice-filled glass
