Their Vallocchio Brunello is a success story for Fanti in what was a challenging weather vintage. The result is a wine that walks a tightrop of intensity and balance. Ripe dark cherry and raspberry fruit is overlaid with toasted bitter almond, hazelnut, mint, eucalyptus, sage, tar and vanilla. Velvety tannins laced with mint and cinnamon provide plushness and length on the finish.
