Traditional, old-school CDP in all its glory. Average vine age of 50+ years adds depth and complexity. Slightly sauvage, its core elements of herbes de Provence, ground pepper, nutmeg, tobacco, teak, kirsch, blackberry & cherry are enveloped by assertive, but not aggressive tannins.
Certified organic, the blend is roughly 70% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre & the balance the usual CDP bedfellows. Whether you drink now or hold out do it some justice with roast leg of lamb! You'll be glad you did...
