Jenny Wagner, daughter of Caymus' Chuck Wagner, has her own label, Emmolo. The name of the wine pays hommage to her great-grandfather, Salvatore Emmolo who planted grapevines and started a grapevine rootstock nursery in Rutherford in the 1920's.
The palate features a lively acidity balanced by delicate fruit flavors of peach and newly ripened honeydew. On the finish there are amazing floral and tree fruit aromas. Overall, this wine is light and crisp with refreshing notes of lemon, grapefruit and stone fruit. Pair with your favorite creamy cheese or fresh seafood.
