Hailing from the tiny Maury AOC and even tinier Cotes de Catalanes VdP within, this wine hints at the great potential for dry red wines that aren't the fortified dessert wines on which the region's reputation has been built. A blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Carignan Noir from 50-year old vines, this sustainably grown and vegan wine delivers black plum, raspberry, black cherry and hints of cedar on a light to medium fram that finishes short. Unfined.
