What makes this wine so incredible and sought-after is the fact that the family harvests the grapes from some of the ripest grapes of three different plots in the highest elevation of their vineyards. The cool climate at the higher elevation delays the fermentation process of Nebbiolo, resulting in high levels of tannins.
100% Nebbiolo. For all the big and bold wine lovers out there - This wine shows phenomenal structure to it with fantastic linear tannins that take this wine deep and long on the palate. A beautiful balance of ripe fruit characterized by strawberry and orange-peel undertones. Lots of red and black berry fruits, crushed violets, licorice, and spicy notes give way to a medium to full-bodied Barbaresco with plenty of tannins, good acidity, abundant mid-palate depth, and a great finish.
