AZ AGR MONTARIBALDI TERNUS LANGHE 2018, Piedmont

Owned by the Taliano family since 1968, Montaribaldi is still family owned and operated. Currently the family has just over 58 acres spread throughout the different terroirs of the Piedmont region. All are linked by the Montaribaldi Road which goes right back to the production houses at the winery. How cool is that to have your very own "road to wine"?! Deep and intense from nose to mouth the "TERNUS" is a brilliant purple hue edged in red. Comprised of 34% Nebbiolo, 33% Dolcetto, and 33% Barbara, the nose is warm with cedar, baked spices, and truffles. The full and juicy palate showcases red berries, black fruits, and dried violets with nuances of dried cooking herbs. Finishing long and rich with warm woodsy notes, jammy dark fruits, and pops of clean minerality this blend is juicy and pleasant even with its persistent intensity. Enjoy on its own or pair with rich hearty dishes such as stews, braised fare, grilled, and roasted dishes.
