You can’t go wrong with this pair from California. Folie A Deux Chardonnay from Sonoma is one of our top selling California whites. Rich aromas of stone fruit and honeysuckle on the nose are driven by a strong core of toasted oak and layers of pineapple, salted caramel, and melon framed by a richly textured palate. The finish is clean and refreshing, with balanced acidity and a hint of minerality. The Joseph Carr Cabernet Sauvignon is textbook Napa. This vintage is a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% other varietals. Aromas of fresh black cherry, tobacco, and vanilla lead into a full-bodied mouth feel with food friendly acidity and tannins. The lengthy finish highlights flavors of black plums and dark chocolate.

This 100% Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley is medium-dry with gentle flavors of apricot and honey – pair with light appetizers, salads, Thai, and Indian dishes. This elegant trifecta is comprised of both staff and customer favorites, so it’s a sure winner. The Alexander Valley Vineyards Chardonnay is a great way to start a meal with friends and family. Aromas of apple, pear, vanilla, and floral notes open up to flavors of tropical fruit and apricots. 1% Viognier was added for a slight floral component and richer mouth feel. “Lyric” by Etude is from a producer known for outstanding Pinot Noirs. It shows aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry, and cranberry. The palate is laden with baking spices, toasted nuts, strawberry, and black cherry enhanced by silky, round tannins. Château St. Jean’s fifth vintage of their Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is bold and assertive. The nose opens up with rich, black fruit and baking spices and leads to a plush, juicy mouth feel filled with berry jam and hints of chocolate.
Treat someone special to a picnic in Paris with this assortment fit for any Francophile featuring two of our favorite Loire Valley wines. The Domaine Cherrier et Fils Sancerre Blanc is a consistently stunning Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose, elegant aromas of honeydew melon and lime zest lead to a rich, clean set of flavors with bright citrus notes and chalky minerality indicative of the Loire. The Guy Saget la Perrier Marie de Beauregard Chinon is 100% Cabernet Franc. On the nose, it has aromas of coffee and sweet pepper with a hint of camphor mixed with vanilla. On the palate, red berry fruits and a smoky background. Solid structure with silky smooth tannins. Creamy French cheese, a decadent saucisson and Water Wheel wafer crackers complete your al fresco Parisian meal. C’est magnifique!

Champagne & Chicago Confection’s Assorted Chocolates
Combine a gift of luxury with decadence. The Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut is a full bodied Champagne composed of mostly Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Bottle aging produces delicate, fine bubbles with toasty notes. Excellent structure with white fruit on the nose and juicy, fleshy pear on the palate finishes bright and clean. These elegant bubbles deserve an equally elegant counterpart, hence the assorted chocolates from The Chicago Classic Candy Company.

This elegant bubbly shows aromas of green apple and citrus with crisp acidity and a touch of yeast on the long finish. Moving on to the appetizers, the Girard Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect accompaniment with its citrus, melon, and tropical notes. On the palate, the bright acidity is balanced by mandarin orange, kiwi and lime flavors. For the main course, the Beringer Napa Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunner – racy and supple, with great balance and a firm tannin back bone. The 2015 Alexander Valley Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir has classic style with balanced acidity and bright fruit. On the nose, black cherry, plum, vanilla, and oak notes open up to a palate of fresh cherry, blackberry, and plum with a silky texture and structured finish. The trio is completed with the 2014 Girard Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. Aromatics suggest cigar box, bold black fruit, and notes of graphite. In the mouth, red, blue, and black fruits are balanced by hints of currant, vanilla, and mocha.
Welcome to your six country tour! We begin with the refreshing Urlar Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and then head over to Spain for the Torres Viña Sol. After a quick jaunt across the Bay of Biscay to France for the Montgravet Rosé, we venture into the Mediterranean on our way to Italy for the Poggio Alla Lepre Chianti.
