The family has been making wine since 1642. That said, their Lalande de Pomerol is crafted in a modern, sleek style. Rich and concentrated in a medium-bodied frame it shows layers of blackberry, raspberry, nutmeg, leather, oak spice and coffee. The succulent and velvety mouthfeel is balanced. 80%Merlot, 10%Cabernet Sauvignon & 10% Cabernet Franc. Great, sophisticated bang for the buck!
