Part of the world renown Boisset Collection's portfolio, Bonpas (meaning Bon Passage in French) was a fortified monastery built in the 12th century overlooking the Durance River near the town of Avignon.
Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre are blended to create deep ruby-red hues which hint at the expressive and powerful flavors to come. Jammy dark fruits are front and center on the nose with back notes of freshly crushed spice leading into a warm palate of bruised dark stone fruits, black olives, and baked spices.
