Wine Spotlight for 9/18/2020

Chateau Les Grandes Versennes  From France's famous Bordeaux region comes this smaller than your average Euro-vineyard. Terroir-driven and sticking to the unique characteristics that Bordeaux soil offers, this has the classic leather, black cherry, cassis and smoky personality you’re looking for! CAP $7.97 (reg. $11.97)

Windvane Chardonnay  Created as an homage to the wind that contributes to the unique character of Carneros wines, Winevane is a perfect balance of crisp acidity and well-ripened fruit. With layers of apple, crème brûlée and toasty oak flavors in a full-bodied style, it doesn't hold back on its spicy and lemony finish. 90pts – Wine Advocate  CAP $16.97 (reg. $32.97)

Ladera Sauvignon Blanc  Located at 1,800 feet elevation Howell Mountain (Napa), the winery was originally built in 1886. Elegance and balance is the driving force here as this wine spends time in both stainless steel and French oak.

Ample white peach, apricot and melon gives plenty of acidity and layers of texture. 91pts – Wine Spectator CAP $16.97 (reg. $29.97)
