Though the wine is produced within Tuscany's Chianti Classico area, its 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc denies it a Chianti Classico classification. That said 6 months on its lees and 16 months in French barriques ensure the wine stands proudly on its own. A rich mix of red and black berrry fruit, cassis and oak spice teases and delivers. Full-bodied and full-flavored, the depth, balance and fine tannins reward your risk of trying something new. Unfiltered. Certified Sustainable/Organic vineyard.
