Owned by Patricia Ortiz, Tapiz Winery has racked up many accolades over the years as have her other wineries!! Harvested from the El Jarillal Estate, the microclimate is ideal for producing intensely aromatic and concentrated wines from nose to mouth. The winery is sustainable in ALL aspects just like its sister sites. Produced by Fabian Valenzuela and Jean-Claude Berrouet (Chateau Petrus) the 100% Torrontés is fermented in the Traditional Champenoise Method. Pale yellow hues edged in green give way to bright aromas of zesty citrus and fresh field flowers with nuances of warm earth popping through. Delicate, persistent small bubbles provide crisp freshness on the palate with fresh cut melon, sweet tropical fruits, and juicy grapefruit. Wild and foamy on the palate the flavors carry through to the long, lingering finish with crisp minerality and musky earth. This is a steal at under $20 for a sparkling considering it's from the winemaker behind Petrus and Dominus!!
