The current owners have been there since 1999 and had started with only farmers and 49.50 acres and have now grown into 20 growers and 190.25 acres focusing on native varietals such as Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, Susamaniello, and Primitivo. Aged in stainless steel tanks this 100% Negroamaro is an explosion of flavors!! On the nose you get aromas of spice, leather, and tobacco. A velvety palate of tart fruits and dark sour cherry with nuances of baking spices dancing throughout. Full-bodied, the velvety mouthfeel finishes long with dark, jammy berries, earth, and warm mocha. Bold and balanced drink on its own or enjoy with heavy dishes including pasta, roasted dishes, and grilled dishes.
