A very popular cheddar selected by Neal’s Yard Dairy. Produced within twenty miles of the town of Cheddar in the lush dairy land of Somerset. Montgomery’s Cheddar is dry and flaky with deep, rich, fruity, and savory flavors and an incredibly long finish. Aged at least 12 months.
According to Culture Magazine, Montgomery’s Cheddar is a pleasure to pair. An IPA with strong citrus and fruit flavor will provide a zippy balance to the wedge’s musty notes while pulling out its fruity side. And since the Montgomery cows graze on apples, we think a high-tannin English cider is just as fitting. We agree.
