A guy named John Rexer used to smuggle this stuff back to his bar in Guatemala back in 2005 and soon Ilegal took off! This joven is smooth and velvety with a tangy lemon and citrusy finish. Not very smoky or peppery, great beginner mezcal or for cocktails.
