Neutronium Imperial Rye Stout is a special release we do each year because it is one of our favorite base beers for aging in whiskey barrels. This batch was aged in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels for 13 months. Post barrel aging we added liquid chocolate, Mexican vanilla beans and roasted pecans. Full bodied from additions of rye and chocolate rye with an aromatic balance of Amarillo hops. Post barrel flavors of chocolate cake, dark fruit, oak tannin, and toasted nuts with a semi-sweet finish.
