Saturday wine and food tastings

Every Saturday we have fun tastings from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sample foods from our deli and selected wines, beers, and spirits. Put us on your calendar!

Schaefer’s Uncorked Events

On a scheduled basis, often Thursday evenings, Schaefer’s hosts tastings and educational events featuring winemakers, distillers, brewers and their representatives. Broaden your horizons, sample the newest releases and enjoy great “one night only” deals. Be sure we have your email so we can give you a timely heads-up.

The Boundary Room

Need a great space for a private party or function? Schaefer’s has the space! Whether it’s a catered dinner, a wine tasting or an informal get together, our staff will provide a great experience at an affordable cost. The Boundary Room is situated on the original Schaefer’s Boundary Tavern. There’s plenty of history and charm on those wooden plank floors. Call us for details.

Schaefer’s Saturday- Joe Jensen from Compass Wines

Saturday, May 19th 11-5pm – Our good friend, Joe Jensen from Compass Wines, will be sampling an exciting lineup from Trinitas Cellars. Trinitas celebrates the connection among sun, soil, and humanity by working closely with its grower society throughout Northern California. Furthermore, Trinitas sources a broad range of varietals from the regions where climate and soil conditions are most favorable for each specific varietal. Small quantities of these exceptional grapes are then handcrafted into an approachable California-style wine to be enjoyed as an aperitif or with food. These libations are great for summer grilling or for just relaxing on the patio. The deli will have plenty of “noshables” to try, too. Stop by!

Uncorked with “The Rhone Ranger” Randall Grahm (Bonny Doon)

Thursday, May 24th 5-7pm – “Uncorked” with Randall Grahm from Bonny Doon at Schaefer’s. It’s been a couple of years since Randall has stopped by the store. His philosophy on winemaking, and just in general, has made him one of the most notable personalities in the wine industry. Here’s the perfect opportunity to meet the man, the myth, the legend!!!
